This happened after I realized that I have so many projects, and I have yet to start anything. (There is an external reason, which I will explain later.)
Anyway, there's a delightful guy named Roberto who has a workshop on Calle de la Madera (that's literally Wood Street) where all the woodshops in Madrid are. I walk up and down that street several times daily, and over time, have made the acquaintance of a number of people in the neighborhood. Roberto is by far the most charming, principally because his vocation is finding cool stuff, rehabbing it, and selling it in his charming store/workshop, called La Fresquera. He's also quite chatty.
After carefully assessing the project situation (I have three pieces vying for my attention), I decided that I would give up the taquillón Mercedes and I stuff in the back of her car last April. It has been sitting in my living room, draped with a sheet and hiding behind the futon, since then. So Roberto came and picked it up today. He was happy to have a free taquillón in good shape. I was happy to eliminate a potential project, and I'm sure I'll enjoy seeing it on C/ Madera sometime soon.

PS: I almost forgot my excuse for not getting started. It's great because I can Blame It On Spain. I went to the local neighborhood paint store, with a list and cash in hand. The paint store man told me that it was imposible to mix latex-based paint esmalte in non-standard colors. I think I must have misexplained it - next time I'm just going to tell them I'm painting a wall.
But I did get some primer... maybe this weekend I'll get started on the Jetsons dresser!
